Pilates is bodyweight training; you learn to control and strengthen your body without equipment. This is hugely beneficial in developing mind body connection and proper support within your body.

Pilates is well known to treat areas of tension, pain and rehabilitating injuries, often caused from neglecting to learn the basics of movement. A few key benefits include; coordination, postural alignment, improved balance, core stability and strength, breath control and awareness.

A comprehensive class, designed to stabilise and strengthen your body, from the inside out. You will move through breath-coordinated floor work for core, pelvic floor, inner thighs and glutes, so that you feel and understand your body and pelvic stability deeper.

Followed by a fantastic BARRE series, focusing on intricate technique cues and integrating the floor work on your feet. This is the most amazing glute and hip stability work you will ever do (with the most butt burn)… Finishing with a light yoga flow to stretch out your body.

All levels – recommended for all beginners.

In 2012 Gabriella Walters started a training system, Inferno Hot Pilates, which combines Pilates principles with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

Hot Pilates is a Challenging, full body, low impact, high intensity workout, using Pilates principles. The room is heated to 35 degrees Celsius and 40% humidity. The heat loosens up the muscles and the humidity makes you sweat – elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism, and promoting more fat burn. It is designed for all fitness levels. It helps to tone and strengthen muscles without the pounding of high impact workout.

Why Inferno Hot Pilates? Because it works. It creates quick, visible results.

Hot yoga started back in 1970’ s when Bikram Choudhury first started using heaters in his yoga room. This experiment was finessed to 40C to 40% humidity and developed into the Bikram method hot yoga that’s widespread today. Since Bikram’s hot yoga style first erupted in Hollywood, many other styles have adopted the heating in their practice.

Why the heat? Working in a heated room elevates the heart rate, which, in turn, makes the body work harder. The increase in external temperature causes body to sweat, therefore the main benefits of hot yoga are detoxification not only at the peripheral level and cleansing the skin but also working through internal organs as well. It works from bones to skin and from skin to bones.
Every muscle group is affected and every set of bone groups are affected. The heat also helps the body to move deeply and safely into the postures. Hot yoga promotes the functional fitness to improve daily quality of life.
