You guys have been asking... for months... well, it’s finally the right time. REIKI 1 is happening. Sunday 22nd April. I will get more info out within the next week. However, to answer a few questions... Yes. This is your Reiki 1 attunement. Which gives you your own self-healing abilities and access, as well as facilitating sessions for others if you choose. I have been working with these energies for 7 years, completing Reiki Master 4 years ago, and really looking forward to teaching not just the standard course content, but also through the lens of my experiences after much time for complete integration into my being, both in terms of how to use it to support a healthy and well ‘empath’ life, as well as effective session facilitation. It is important to me that this work not be rushed. I will only take you on if it feels right for both of us. I am opening this up to 6 people only. With potential to run another course soon after if necessary. 1 spot is already definitely gone. Please contact me if you feel drawn to it, I’m happy to answer any questions. 🙏🏼 Kirsty ... See more

Introducing you to the "Young" Athletes Program, plus 2 exciting new classes....and more -
Integrity attracts Integrity
Many people have been asking about the "Young" Athletes program.....an email will be coming out tomorrow giving you the rundown..... here's a snippet...... "Young" Athletes Program I really wish I could deliver all of this face to face as I'm not sure whether written word will deliver the passion and belief I have in this area..... Before I get into it, let me preface by saying......this program is NOT purely for the young......read this in the context of speaking to the young, the young at heart and the plain old straight super driven mofos (that wish we were younger, hmmm sometimes!)....that I know many of you are (or at very least on the way to becoming). For those that do not know, part of my previous existence was as a football coach (for 7 years).......a path I was often asked about from many friends and peers....was this of interest.....I always replied with an extremely honest and definite no....until it became a pathway "out" of a big hole I had found myself in.... For me coaching football was the equivalent of painting a wall one colour.......boring, uncreative, disempowering, and worse.....boy was I wrong. That was just a pre-conceived belief.....I soon realised that you would be hard pressed to find a better avenue to tap into the self-development of a person (boy, girl, man, woman) that allowed for the approach, coaching and development of so many key issues in one's deep individual make up, outlook and performance in life than through coaching.....especially via the door knock of sport (or health & fitness)... You seem I'm a mischevious person and what may be on the surface taken to be coaching on how to defend an aspect of the ground, or the attitude one needs to develop to open themselves up to any chance of success at the highest level, or the focus on building of full body function and strength to successfully complete a full chin up........is really building the fundamentals in how to develop resilience to overcome the setback of failing an 'important' maths exam, planting the seeds to getting off on the right foot in building an empowered and dignified career, to creating self-belief that one can achieve many things they initially deem out of reach if they break it down to smaller steps and apply consistency to their approach. I feel like after almost 15 years now in a coaching role I am now maturing as a coach, taking my role more seriously (but definitely not too serious....) and can sit back or move in when required to create a very rounded long -term (with many short-term wins) approach to my coaching and the programs i /we develop. Experience and learning off many other great (and not so great) coaches has been a huge blessing/education. I've seen great skills/technique/strategy coaches who are cursed with a lack of integrity or people skills. I've seen great empathy driven people focused coaches who lack the energy and 'tough love' factor to achieve great results. I have seen tough, ruthless, hard nosed, supremely thorough coaches that struggle to instill confidence, I have seen brilliant, creative thinking coaches that get over taken by ego and eccentricity...... It's a huge balancing act that varies with each situation and each individual.....but it's a truly beautiful thing when energies sync. ... See more
This one comes up over and over again....a perfect, simple article that hits the spot. If fat loss is my goal, how should I be training? “With low-intensity, steady-state cardiovascular work, your body reaches maximal adaptations usually after six to eight weeks…for life. Therefore, it is better to move on to interval training if you want very rapid results in fat loss. And although the dogma of the aerobics gurus calls for one single cardiovascular training protocol for maximum weight loss. Research suggests otherwise.” It’s worth noting here that a large portion of the programming for the morning Karmony sessions centres around.... 1. Fat loss 2. Balanced strength building 3. Posture, mobility and efficient movement patterns 4. Energy and vitality 5. Connection, challenge & fun http://www.strengthsensei.com/cardio-fat-loss-2-mistakes ... See more
